With a social remit of providing help to the elderly, the Hector Otto Foundation has two residences for senior citizens. Individuals with limited resources are given priority admission.
Going far beyond offering exceptionally high-quality services, the Foundation bases its work on human values and the concept of ageing well. Seeking to offer a safe environment and maximum comfort, the everyday wellbeing of residents is an absolute priority.

The Bellando de Castro residence is an assisted living facility in which elderly residents are accommodated in private apartments.

Main criteria for admission:

• Be between 60 and 85 years old

• Be a Monegasque national or meet the residency conditions set out in the Foundation’s internal regulations

• Be able-bodied and independent

Jean and Juana Giaume Residence

The J. & J. Giaume residence is currently closed for renovation and construction of an extension which will enable it to accommodate dependent elderly residents (dependency categories GIR 3 and 4) from 2022.
