New Handiplage site in Larvotto

The Department of Social Welfare and Social Services and the Soroptimist International Association present the new Handiplage site at Larvotto beach.

From Monday 5 July until Sunday 5 September inclusive, people with disabilities or reduced mobility and senior citizens will once again be able to enjoy the pleasures of a dip in the sea at Larvotto beach. The facility is available from 10 am to 5 pm seven days a week.

A team of Handiplage attendants will be on hand to offer help and support. Three Tiralo bathing wheelchairs will also be available for use free of charge.

Those arriving by car can take advantage of free parking for three hours in the Larvotto public car park.

From Avenue Princesse Grace, the site can be accessed via a ramp and it will soon be possible to use the Larvotto resort lifts as well.
