Stay on your guard against winter viruses!

As the festive season approaches, the Government of Monaco is reiterating the importance of staying vigilant against winter viruses.

While this season is all about sharing and getting together with family, it's also a time when respiratory viruses (flu, colds, etc.) and viral gastroenteritis return, as they do each year.  A few simple preventive measures will help limit the spread of infections, allowing you to make the most of the festive season:

- wash your hands several times a day,  

- cover your mouth and nose when sneezing,  

- use a single-use handkerchief, etc,  

- wear a mask if you have symptoms of illness.    

The Government of Monaco reminds everyone that it's still possible to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and/or seasonal flu*.  

To get vaccinated, you can either:  

1. contact the Monegasque Screening Centre at the Princess Grace Hospital (CHPG) on (+377) 97.98.83.02, to make an appointment (Covid-19 vaccination only).

2. make an appointment with your GP at the surgery or for a home visit if you're unable to travel.

3. Head to one of the Principality's pharmacies.  

*Those covered by Monegasque social security are entitled to 100% reimbursement for vaccinations.
