Speranza–Albert II Centre

Principle

The Speranza–Albert II Centre offers therapeutic day care to Monaco residents suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or cognitive impairment (memory loss, temporal/spatial disorientation, etc.).

Aims

The Centre aims to:

  • Prevent social isolation
  • Maintain the functional and cognitive capacities of its users
  • Offer respite to family carers

Services offered

The Centre is open for day care from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. A vehicle specifically adapted for people with reduced mobility transports users from their homes to the Centre.

A programme of therapeutic and sociable activities is organised each month.

The programme is adapted to the needs of each individual:

  • Memory stimulating activities
  • Physical activities
  • Gardening
  • Educational cookery
  • Maintaining social links
  • Music
  • Maintaining the ability to use everyday tools

Free

Since its reopening on May 2, 2023, access to the Speranza Center is free.

The Speranza–Albert II Centre team would be happy to provide you with any additional information.
