How do I go about getting the COVID-19 vaccine?
Vaccination is free and voluntary. Given the current pace of vaccine supply, the Prince’s Government is prioritising administration of the vaccines. The over 75s have been first to receive a letter from the Government, and next it is the turn of the over 65s. The vaccine will then be given to healthcare and security staff before being gradually rolled out to everyone else.
Once you receive your letter from the Government, you are invited to contact the COVID-19 Call Centre on 92.05.55.00 (open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week) to register your wish to be vaccinated. Following this initial contact, you will be called back to arrange an appointment for your vaccination at the National Vaccination Centre in the Espace Léo Ferré (Terrasses de Fontvieille, 25 Avenue Albert II) or at home if you find it difficult to travel. If you live in a care home, you will be given specific information there.
It is not necessary to obtain a medical prescription. If you do not have a prescription from your chosen doctor, the vaccine will be administered following a pre-vaccination medical consultation at the National Vaccination Centre or at your home.
