Violence against women: new awareness-raising campaign
As part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights has created a campaign on the theme of ‘Violence against women and girls via the digital media’. To stimulate the interest of young people, the campaign centres on the publication of a special edition of the manga Blitz, made in partnership with Shibuya Productions.
The manga Blitz follows the everyday lives of adolescents involved in their school’s chess club. But in this episode, Riko’s life is turned upside down. A female friend she trusts leaks some photos of Riko that should have been private. Discover how the manga characters deal with this situation and their feelings of shame and guilt.
