Healthcare facilities
Taste Week at CHPM
By: Angeline Pena Prado, Director of Nursing Care, Quality Engineer for the Quality and Safety of Care (Monaco Private Dialysis Centre - CHPM)
National Taste Week was held from 10 to 16 October 2022.
It was an opportunity for patients and staff at healthcare facilities to discover new flavours and taste products that they rarely allow themselves as part of their diets.
Last year, CHPM offered a light meal inspired by the theme of the countryside around Nice and the Roya Valley, in memory of the victims of Storm Alex.
This year, the CHPM offered a light Italian-themed meal.
The menu featured:
- A selection of Italian cheeses (Scamorza affumicata, Toma al Peperoncino and Parmigiano Reggiano).
- An Amaretti biscuit to add a sweet touch
- A small glass of limoncello to end the meal on a festive note
The meal was a success, and all of our patients enjoyed some delicious food. The Centre was decorated in the colours of Italy for the occasion, and the staff were dressed in aprons and chef’s hats.
The CHPM would like to thank all of its staff for their dedication.
